African Children’s Choir

african_children_choir_logoThe African Children’s Choir are touring Scotland and will be coming to Corstorphine. They will be performing on May 20th at 19.00 in St Thomas church, Glasgow Road,  Corstorphine,  Edinburgh.

There is no admission charge, but feel free to give a donation if you so wish! They need to make £300 at each performance to cover their costs.

The African Children’s Choir is comprised of 23 African children, ages seven to eleven. Each child in the Choir has lost one or both parents to poverty or AIDS. This year’s Choir members come from Kenya and Uganda. The children are well looked after, are given an education and in turn they use their beautiful voices to encourage others.
Further Information is available from Julie Fairhurst, Chair of Fox Covert Parent Council.
