SVA Mini Leaders Programme
A great opportunity for children in Primary 5 to P7 to sign up and be involved in the Scottish Volleyball National Cup Finals weekend. Pupils can sign up to be trained as a courtside assistant and to support the biggest event of the year so far.
Pupils would need to be able to attend the training on Friday 12th April from 4-7 pm as part of the experience.
The National Cup Finals will take place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April. Lunch and snacks will be provided on both days.
Mini-Leaders will get the opportunity to meet some of Scotland’s top Volleyball Athletes; learn new skills, play some volleyball on the match court and meet new people.
All Mini-Leaders will receive a T-shirt and goody bag for their involvement in the programme.
The closing date for registration is Monday 1st April 2019.
Please see the flyer below for further information.
Survey
Edinburgh Child Protection Committee and NSPCC Scotland are working together to design a city wide campaign on neglect. As part of this, they are keen to develop a better understanding of what parents in Edinburgh understand by the term neglect, what they would do if they suspected a child was being neglected and where families access support with parenting. They have created a short survey to do this, which should take between five and ten minutes to complete. By completing this survey, you will be helping them to ensure that the final campaign will be relevant to all families and contribute towards keeping all children in the city safe. Closing date for responses is 18 March.
As promised P7 memories…
A selection of memories from Primary 1 to Primary 7. Good luck you’ve been a blast!
Tesco Feedback
We have been asked by Tesco if parents and carers could provide some feedback about the free fruit that we have been fortunate enough to receive on a weekly basis in school as part of our 1 in 5 work. We would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to do this as it may result in us continuing to receive free fruit for another few weeks. It is certainly well loved and enjoyed by the children every week!
You can participate in the following ways:
- Visit http://www.tescoviews.com
- Call 08000 517 445
You can also gain 25 clubcard points and be entered into a prize draw to win a £1,000 Tesco gift card by taking part!
