Sports Day

sports day

Our joint Sports Day will take place on Tuesday 3rd May from 9.30-11.30 am approximately.  It will be the same format as previous years with the whole school participating together.  We hope to see you there and for lots of sunshine!  It would be extremely helpful if the children come to school wearing suntan lotion if it is a really sunny day as they will be outside for around two hours.  The children should come to school dressed in their house colours if at all possible.  They do not require to change into school uniform thereafter and can remain in their sports kit for the remainder of the school day.

A reminder of our school colours:

DALMENY – YELLOW

DUNDAS – BLUE

HOPETOUN – GREEN

ROSEBERY – RED

House Wristbands

wristbands

Primary 6 will be selling House  wristbands (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) to all pupils daily from Wednesday  20th April to Friday 29th April.

We will be selling them for 50p each.

There is no limit of how many you can purchase at one time.

The money that we raise will go towards the coach for our Lagganlia trip.

Thank you from the ‘Primary 6 wristband team’.

Rag Bag

rag-bag

Our school has once again registered to participate in the “Rag Bag” Textile Recycling Scheme.  Your child will be  given a Rag Bag in order to collect clothing, textiles, shoes, bedding and belts that you no longer want.  These items will be reused or recycled by the charity and also help to raise money for school funds, as we receive a small amount of cash for each kilogram gathered.  If you have items for Rag Bag, please place them in the bag sent home and return to school by Friday 13th May.  This will then enable us to have all items ready for collection by the charity the following Monday.  Many thanks for your support.
